Steve
overdubs live vocals and wind synthesizer in a group of improvised and
composed songs that deal with spirituality and sexuality. "Music from
a country I've never been to but always wanted to go."

Steve has toured as keyboardist/vocalist with David Byrne (Rei Momo), Bebel Gilberto, and Ruben Blades. His extensive work in the NY Latin music scene brought him to arrange for and play with Celia Cruz, Yomo Toro, and Daniel Ponce. He has performed his own music at the Knitting Factory, at the Guggenheim Museum World Music series, and at the premier season of the Alan Good Dance Company. He's currently writing an original piece with choreographer Maria Torres for the Alvin Ailey Dance School, and is scoring the Nickelodeon/CBS cartoon series, Dora the Explorer. | |
